  • Coffee: 24 Grams
  • Water: 384 Grams
  • Ratio: 1:16
  • Grind: Medium-fine
  • Time: 2:15
  • Yield: 12 Ounces
1

Place v60 on the brewing vessel. Grab a v60 filter, fold the seam down, open the filter, and place it in the device.

2

Rinse the filter with near boiling water so that the filter seals on the edges of the v60. Dump out the rinse water.

3

Grind 24 grams of coffee on a medium coarse setting. Transfer the ground coffee into the v60. Place the v60 on the scale and zero it.

4

Start the timer. Right off of boil, pour in 50 grams of water to bloom the ground coffee. Stir the bloom and wait until the timer reaches 30 seconds.

5

Off of boiling, spiral pour (to evenly saturate the coffee bed) to 200 grams over time until the timer reads 1 minute.

6

Pour in the center and continue at a consistent pour rate so that the total weight is 410 grams at 2 minutes

7

Stir gently to remove grinds from the v60 walls. The remaining water in the bed should draw down by 2 minutes and 15 seconds

8

Remove cone and dispose of filter
