  • Grind: Medium-coarse

Fold the seams of your #4 filter in opposite directions. Open the filter and place it in your Clever Dripper. Fill with off-of-boiling water to rinse the filter. Engage the bottom to drain the rinse water.


Place the device on your scale and zero it.


Grind 32 grams of coffee on a coarse setting. Transfer the ground coffee into the Clever Dripper.


Start the timer. Right off of boil, pour 480 grams of water over the bed of ground coffee.


Allow the coffee to steep for 3 minutes.


After 3 minutes, remove the lid and stir to break up the crust. The remaining water should draw down by 4 minutes.


Remove the Clever, discard the filter and extracted grounds, stir the brewed coffee.
